About Me

I am from Pewaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin this May. In September, I started my role as a Communications Coordinator for EXP. In addition to my academic pursuits, I recently completed a strategic communications specialist internship in the Facilities Planning & Management division at the university. In this role I sourced, wrote, edited and designed the content for a bi-weekly internal newsletter, tracked metrics for said newsletter, wrote stories for the human-interest style "What's your job?" series and updated campaign audience lists using Mailchimp.

I also served as the Marketing and Outreach Director for the UW chapter of Leading Women of Tomorrow and took on roles as the Associate Web Director, Social Chair and a copyeditor for a local student publication, The Badger Herald. Since graduation, I have obtained certificates in SEO, Inbound Marketing and Social Media Marketing from HubSpot Academy to further my knowledge and skills in the marketing and communications industries.

Career Goals

Though the job title may vary, I have prioritized a career that provides benefits and support not just to the company, but the individual as well. Furthermore, I believe it's the combination of my creativity and analytical mindset that sets me apart, so I aim to professionally capitalize on that nuance.

Interests

I am a self-motivated individual proficient in both verbal and written communication with years of experience in internal and corporate communications, public relations and media strategy.

I am interested in a career that combines my love for intentional rhetoric and technology, specifically the fields of digital privacy or data analytics.

In my personal life, I enjoy thrifting, listening to true crime podcasts, learning about sustainability initiatives, trying new coffee shops and playing with my cat, Sundae.
